A yamaha rbx170, and i am loving it I am a huge seether fan, and i'd love to be able to jam along to some of their tracks, but as i've tuned my bass guitar down to cgcf tuning, the low c string, gets very floppy I used to play a 4 string tuned to cgcf ,ie drop c or drop d down a whole step, like you but when i moved to a 5 string i just tuned up the low b a half step so i use ceadg tuning instead I had to transpose the riffs but once i did i found that the frethand positions were actually simpler and that the bass played better tension and setup wise.
